Todd Hartsell is a lifelong Texan, working in the Digital Media world. His love of storytelling comes from having been raised on movies the way others were raised on baseball. After earning a degree in filmmaking he quickly found out the hard lesson so many aspiring filmmakers do; earning success without connections to funding is an exercise in frustration. 

Todd never imagined how rewarding the collaborative process to create a novel would be when asked to join in the writing of "The Risen". Living in Allen,TX with his wife Shelly and daughter Abbey, Todd has now transitioned his love for stories from screen to page. After all, it can never be on the screen if it's not first on the page.

Brian Van Skiver is an original, conceptual thinker, raised in the midst of the Golden Age of late 70's and early 80's science fiction. He has grown to see science fiction as a platform to effectively recreate common threads in the struggle for human victories; focusing on individualistic themes in complicated and dangerous worlds. As an enduring creative, fascinated by design and art, he strayed from traditional writing while receiving a degree in design. Returning to writing, he found a skillful, fundamental craftsman as a partner to coact and abridge vast ideas to fruition. He currently resides in Grand Prairie, Texas with his wife Kandice and children: Tyler, Riley and Reese.
