Dropping in for a quick announcement. I am a little over half way done with my edits of the new A Hero's Villain chapter, so that should be coming out sometime in the next few days.

It's been brought to my attention that some of my chapters for newer fics have some funky errors in the sentences. I apologize, for some reason when I copy and past my beta'd work out of MS Word and into Wattpad, Wattpad will delete words and I have to manually go back in and retype it. I don't spend a ton of time on here anymore, so I haven't reread the newer stuff I've posted to verify it's error free. If you find any, please don't feel bad pointing them out to me so I can fix them!
Second, I just wanted to say I am getting back to A Hero's Villain and starting on the next chapter! It's been awhile, and I apologize for that, but I am back at it now :D

Thank you everyone who responded to my question back in August. I've decided for now that I will continue to post updates and new stories to Wattpad, but please note it might be a bit more delayed than posting to AO3 for new stories (I hate making covers for them, lol).
I posted another chapter of Inveigle - my Alpha Dabi x Omega Hawks HoneyPot story.
I've also posted the first three chapters of a new story - House of Feathers. This is another Omegaverse featuring Alpha Hero Hawks and Omega Sex Worker Dabi.

Hi all. I’m curious to know, for those of you who follow me, if you are primarily following for TodoBaku content?
I’ve been involved in several events focused on DabiHawks lately and while I’m not abandoning my tdbk fics, they’ve taken a back burner to the event stuff. However, my DabiHawks content doesn’t get much traction here.
I appreciate those of you who read anything I write, but I am debating the pros and cons of keeping Wattpad vs just my AO3. So im also wondering how many of you are on AO3 as well? I don’t want to leave any follower of my works behind if I were to leave Wattpad, but the time taken to update here doesn’t pan out because most things just never seem to get read (much, if at all).
Wattpad is a hard place to get traction, maybe because I’ve missed the DabiHawks/TodoBaku fans here, or maybe just the (terrible) algorithm, and while I do write for myself (and events), it can still be a bit of a let down to see works I’ve put dozens (or hundreds) of hours into get very little readership here.
I’m not making any decisions any time soon, and I always appreciate every single view/comment/vote. I’m just looking to gauge interaction and the ability of those who want to follow me to do so on AO3 if I were to only post there.
I’d love to hear any input y’all have.

For me personally I am primarily here for the TodoBaku content, but am not opposed to the DabiHawks. I always throughly enjoy anything you write. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to finish anything of yours if you were to only remain on Ao3 because of my vision disability. It’s more difficult for me to read on Ao3 because I can only read it in a web browser and it makes the story unpleasant for me if I struggle to read it so much. With Wattpad I have the app on my phone that fills my whole screen and has plenty of settings to help the font reads better and the contrast toned to what will help me see the best. That being said I fully support any decisions you make in effort to further share your stories and get more reads, and if Wattpad isn’t doing it for you I wouldn’t blame you for switching completely to Ao3. I hope whatever you decide gives you the results you’re looking for!

I've just published a new one shot - You Had Me At Hello - based on some artwork on X for DabiHawks week this year. This features civilian butterfly keeper Touya and Hero Hawks. The idea hit me like a truck, and wouldn't let me go until I wrote it out lol.
To be fully transparent, Wattpad is not my favored method of publishing stories any more and while I will continue to update things here, new stories and chapters will always be on AO3 first. If you'd like to follow me there, my username is LighthouseShadows. Currently, my stories there are available for users and guests, but in the not-to-distant future I will be locking that down to only users to avoid AI scrapes. Making an account is super easy, and you'll have access to so many good fics then!
