Who else has lapsed straightaway into 'telling' just because we got too excited for a scene?
          *Raises hands nervously*
          
          The show vs tell is a delicate balance, something I feel authors struggle with. Let the reader 'see' things instead of 'telling them what to see'. Sounds crazy, right? 
          
          But that's what the best editors in business will tell you. Got a chance to submit one of my 'edited' works to be reviewed by a developmental editor and they quite blatantly told me what all needed to be fixed, which apparently was a lot
          
          Use images and adjectives! Get those creative juices flowing ✨
