Not going to lie, I'm losing the motivation to write for WattPad. I write my own personal books and stories, and I'm getting tired of fanfiction. I'm not saying this because I want pity, seriously you can throw pitchforks at me if you want. I'm going to finish Call the Detective, that's a promise. I don't know exactly when it will be finished, but it will be.

As for Get Husled, I feel as though I'm not deep enough into it to feel an attachment to the characters. Maybe it'll slowly start coming out. That one isn't a promise.
Anyway, I hope you don't mind. Not a lot of people read my stuff, but I'm always thinking of the the kind folks that do.

That's a shame to hear! I know I've enjoyed your stories, and I know I'm not the only one, either. D':

Thank you for giving us an update though, and it's nice to hear that you'll be finishing at least one of your stories! What do you think is the reason you're losing motivation - getting tired of the source material, getting worn out by a busy update schedule, not generating ideas frequently enough (though I highly doubt it's that, you seem to have the timeline of your stories pretty mapped out :D ), or something else?

Considering that you're still writing, just not fanfiction, have you ever considered posting those stories here on Wattpad? I'd certainly read them, and I'm sure most of your other readers would as well. I understand if you're more hesitant to publish your original works on here, but Wattpad is intended to include stories of any genre, and everyone knows that scouts and recruiters have found and helped publish people who started out on Wattpad, too.

And on another note, don't let a low reader or follower count get you down, either! Things like that always need more time, and more importantly, it's just not healthy to measure yourself by, or perseverate over, those things. You're a skilled and consistent writer, which alone ought to earn you attention, and aside from that, you never know just how many visitors may quietly come by your profile and enjoy your things, but you just don't realize it.

Before I finally finish yakking your ear off, I'm sorry I didn't get to this sooner. Yesterday was a little busy, and I first noticed this a few days after it was posted, as I didn't see anything in my notifications. My bad!

Either way, best wishes in wherever you go from here, and I hope you know that what we look forward to the most is hearing from you at all :D
