Lily,
Hey! I'm K.L.Hansen's friend. I saw your comment on her story, and I'm just here to say that you are such a big help to her. She probably won't admit it to you, (and don't tell her that I said this...) but she was so excited when she saw your feedback. So excited, that she emailed me right away. I read that you were open to suggestions and advice, and that you are new to writing. I've written a million stories on paper ever since I was in second grade, and I've been recently putting stories up here on Wattpad. I've had a love for writing for a long time. I used to hate reading, but once I found the right book, my stories came to life. I've been trying to give advice a lot lately. Hmm... what is something that every good author should know... I've got it. My advice is to not write what you think others would like, but to write what your heart is saying. No matter what it may be: love, or demons that have plagued you; always try to find a way to put a bit of you in your story. Find a style you like, read a lot of books, watch a lot of movies or play a lot of video games, and have a big imagination. Also, just a little hint for you... Did you know that most of the time characters express a bit of an author's personality? Try to use that to your advantage! I always try to find new writers and help them, especially if they give me or close friends feedback. I hope this will help you in the future!
          Sincerely, Courtney

Probably one of my favorites is either Yancy Goodleaf, Flames of Dawn (that one's about Jack Frost), or the one that K.L.Hansen and I have been working on, Phantom Witches. She and I have had lots of fun discussing how her main character (Nora) will basically torture mine (Ander.)
