Putin's invasion:
What Putin has done is beyond forgivable. Putin promised that there would be no conflict, yet he pulls this stunt and bombs Ukraine.
I am not blaming Russia for his actions, I know some Russians are protesting in Moscow, and my heart goes out to you all. I know you are scared of your government, and doing this is an act of insane bravery. I want to thank you for your efforts, and I hope everything gets resolved as soon as possible.
To anyone living in Ukraine, just know that my heart also goes out to you all. This isn't good, this is escalating into the most unnecessary war anyone has seen, It is brutal, violent and so much innocent lives have already been lost.
I know many of your brothers/fathers/maybe uncles even, are at the borders protecting your country, and I just want to send them the best wishes. I hope they make it back safely.
I hope all your families have fled to safety, maybe even evacuated if lucky. If not, I send my best wishes to you all too. I want you all to try stay safe in these hard times, and I know it's easy for me to say that because I'm not experiencing it, but I want you all to know I am so insanely worried for your safety. I really am. I want everyone living in Ukraine to get to safety. My chest literally tightens when I look at the news and see the bombs, missiles, injured people and crying children.
I know that many of you can't sleep because of the bombs either, and I'm so sorry. I seriously am.
If you're from Ukraine and feel you need to talk to someone, my dms are always open! I will stay up until atleast 12am (GMT, Ireland time) so feel free to talk to me.
