For the simple fact that it's not a casual one-ship fic, and I have to explore all the characters and their specific partners. It's bound to to take a little bit of time. If your problem is that it's too long, I'm so very sorry!

He wakes with blood on his hands and a name that is not his own.

Yoon Jeonghan was meant to die on a rain-slicked road in modern Seoul. Instead, he opens his eyes in chains, buried deep within the stone belly of a Joseon prison—his body wrong, his voice unfamiliar, his reflection stolen. The world speaks an older tongue. Men bow where they should not. Steel follows him like fate.

          They call him a traitor.

The court watches him with sharpened patience. Ministers whisper behind silk sleeves. Guards measure his worth by how quietly he bleeds. And above them all stands the Crown Prince—Choi Seungcheol—ruthless, unreadable, a man history remembers as a monster and Joseon fears as its future.

Jeonghan knows this era. He has taught it. Memorized its dates, its executions, its inevitable tragedies.

What he does not know is why he has been given this face.
Why the prince looks at him as if staring at a ghost.
Why survival feels less like escape and more like seduction.

Because in a palace where power is ritualized and mercy is a myth, beauty becomes a liability—and love, if it comes at all, arrives sharpened.

Some men are born into history.

Others are dragged into it, kicking and screaming.

And some are never meant to leave.

@pal_ami613 I'm sorry that's happening! It might be because I reused the canvas for bargains. You might have to unsave the previous to be able to save this one! Though this has never happened before, I'm sorry!

I just wanted to say WOW because Boarding House completely fooled me in the best way. When I first started it, I genuinely thought it was going to be a stupid-fun crackfic with everyone yelling in the group chat and making unhinged jokes. And yeah, it is funny — like actually laugh-out-loud, “these people need help” funny — but somehow it also turned into this wild mix of friendship, betrayal, cheating, love, longing, and absolute hot mess energy.

It’s ridiculous and dramatic one second, then suddenly hits you with feelings you weren’t prepared for. Everyone’s connections feel real, even when they’re being disasters. The loyalty, the jealousy, the secrets, the petty fights — it all blends together into this chaotic little ecosystem where every character has their own brand of emotional damage.

What I love most is how it never stops being fun. Even when things get messy — and they do get messy — the humor never disappears. It just makes everything crazier, more entertaining, and ten times more addictive. I don’t usually comment under the story but trust I AM ALWAYS THERE LIKEEE whatttt!! So yeah, I just wanted to leave my silly little review here!!

Uhmmmm!! I wish I knew!! I still haven’t figured out my perfect ending yet, so it might take me awhile before I can give an estimate. But if I had to guess maybe 30!?? That’s probably a stretch but it’s a safe guess.
