I'm a semi-retired lawyer, a graduate of Notre Dame Law School with an undergraduate degree in English. My husband and I have one college-student son and a Giant Alaskan Malamute. I recently published my first novel, Random Placement, as an e-book available on amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com, and I have a short contemporary romance novel under conntract with a publisher as part of a holiday anthology to be released at the end of the year. I'm conducting research and sketching out two additional books now.
In Random Placement, a young NY widow at the end of her financial rope is stunned to find a fortune in her checking account, and she sets out to find her anonymous benefactor. She doesn't know that her life has been changed by something that happened to a total stranger fifty years before: The illegal, secretive Jogini ceremony in rural India that affected a young Untouchable girl. The book is a jet-set romance that sheds light on a real-life human rights abuse.
