          I just plublished the first chapter for my book “Among Our Kisses”, and I couldn’t be more excited to read your reactions and feedback on it.

heyyyy everyone.
          
          I want to begin by expressing my apologies for not posting anything and for not reading your posts. Unfortunately, my grandmother, who had been fighting with pulmonary and cardiac health issues for a little over a year, had to be hospitalised on August 13th, just a day after my 20th birthday. She passed away on Friday, with me by her side in the hospital. 
          
          As you certainly can imagine, the past week and these few days have been exceedingly challenging for my parents and I, given the recency of these events. 
          
          Nevertheless, I am compelled to extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for reading my poems and the prologue to my story, as well as for commenting and motivating me to continue... 
          
          Thank you from the bottom of my heart...

          You may have noticed that in the past days, I haven’t been publishing any poems, and that I also didn’t publish the chapters, like promised. 
          
          Unfortunately, due to the immense heat here, my grandmother felt unwell, and had to be hospitalised, thus I hope that you can understand the situation and forgive me for this inconvenience. 
          
          I will be publishing everything I got ready for you, throughout this week, as my 20th birthday is on Saturday!

          Hopefully, you're enjoying the summer holidays with your friends and family! 
          
          This post is really for anyone who has been wondering when I will be publishing chapter 1, for my book 'Among Our Kisses'... I will be honest with you, in the past weeks, I worked on various drafts for the first chapter, the truth is that I don't feel like it's the beginning that I really want for the story.
          
          'Among Our Kisses', is a story that I really want to share with you all, as it's a real and personal story, from which I got to learn a lot of lessons about love; thoughts that I would like to share with you and with which you may find a bond or see yourself in. 
          
          Chapter 1 will surely be published soon, when I feel ready and sure about it!
          
          Until then, I will be publishing my poems :)

          I hope that this post finds you well! I just thought that it would be a good idea, to introduce myself... 
          
          My name is Lipa, I am 20 years old and Portuguese :) 
          
          In my free time, I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, love watching football and formula one, learning new languages and discovering new cultures. To be honest, I love to take on challenges! 
          
          Here's a fun fact: If I were a colour, I would be blue, seeing as I associate it with some key elements of life, in general, such as the sky and the ocean, which are two things which I truly love and admire. In addition, it is a colour that is closely related to my personality and my beliefs, as it symbolises reliability, inspiration, confidence, trust and sensitivity, which are characteristics that apply to myself. Furthermore, blue also gives me a sense of tranquility and balance, which I believe to be key ‘ingredients’ in order to achieve great deeds in life.
          
          I will post regularly poems and chapters of my book here, so that my stories become yours too :) feel free to share with me your ideas, thoughts and feelings... and if you need anything let me know, I am more than happy to help you!
