I'm a little old lady who spends a lot of time reading.  I read for entertainment and as part of my job. At one time, I worked in a library and kept up with all the new publications.  Now, I mostly read older works,as they seem like old friends. 
  I currently work in a school, and study, study, study, but never graduate!  I prefer light reading at home, but something that has a moral or edifying slant to it.  Not just sappy stories.  I also read for research, when I run across something that interests me.
I enjoy the Rick Riordan novels, Anne McAffrey's Dragon Rider series, the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings books, then oldies like Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer and Zane Grey.
