Hi, my name is Frances Woods and I write supernatural fiction under the pen-name, Lisa Woods.  My story 'Black Dog' won the Wells International Short Story Competition in 2010.  I have posted this story on Wattpad, I hope you enjoy the read.  I have had success in other competitions and will place these stories on this site soon. 

I am currently working on a suite of East Anglian short stories all following the supernatural genre together with a novel which mixes themes of witchcraft and mystery with modern day and 16th century settings.  I plan to place the novel on Wattpad, chapter by chapter.

I have a degree in English and Creative Writing and work as an English Lecturer at a local college.  I like to keep my lessons creative and fun, although I never introduce the supernatural into my working day.  A lot of people would be surprised at my chosen genre!
