*grumbles and hisses at self* Sometimes I wish I could kick my own butt. Honestly. Still working on that on-shot and I keep writing just a little bit, hating it, feeling like it’s total crap and getting all down on myself and then stoping for several days so nothing’s getting done. I feel like I might start jumping back and forth between a few project to cope with the self-destructive loathing. See what I am trying to do with this one-shot is improve my writing skills and attempt a more fleshed out, serious work. So I am being really nit-picky. I may start working on another project that I had I finally planned to do before the one-shot. It’ll be more carefree and free form and mostly a way to blow off some steam. It will be a lot more easy going then what I am attempting to do with this one-shot and the Angel AU I have in the works. If this one-shot has taught me anything, it’s that writing this Angel AU is gonna be painful. It’s my baby after all. The idea first came to me 7 years ago and now I decided to re-work it for my two precious boys. I know that when I finally start writing the first chapter on that after I finish fleshing our the details that it’s going to be a painfully slow process.

So after weeks of writers block I am back on the train, literally. I am working on They Met on a Train and hope to have it done it about a week. It’s definitely longer than my first one-shot “Today’s the Day.” It’s already 1.2k and I don’t even think it’s halfway done. Then I have to review it for mistakes, edit and polish it up a bit and it should be ready. I already think it’s going to be much, MUCH better than my last work. After it’s finished I have an idea I am reworking into a KatauDeku story. It’ll end up being a fully fleshed story with many chapters. I had lost interest in the original characters after high school when I came up with the idea. It’s going to be an Angel-Human hybrid AU with minor biblical themes, (I know this can be unsettling to some as I myself am a Catholic but I mean no harm in my writing it’s just an idea that come to me while listen to the album We Are Not Alone by Breaking Benjamin),  and it will be quite an emotional ride if I get only get started on it. I probably won’t post until I get a few chapters pre-made so I don’t have to make you wait for updates. I look forward to it. 

So I just bought some snacks and have the next two days off of work. I am gonna try crack out the rest of my One-Shot and have it edited/revised/polished by the weekend. I may have an idea for another one-shot or two and then I think I’ll start working on my longer project. Here’s hoping my first fanfic turns out good. 

@Nowaystop34 You’re welcome. It’s really very good. Your writing style in clean and concise and you develop your characters wonderfully. It’s very enticing and keeps me coming back for more.
