Why is it so hard to find good found family fanfics that are reader/oc inserts without any romance for the reader/oc???????

Saw a clip on my fyp on TikTok,
          It was about people not knowing how hard it is for women to work in the postal service because its such a MAIL dominated industry. 
          I didn't stop laughing and crying for a solid 5 minutes.

Should I buy Hollow Knight for my switch or my laptop?
          
          Switch Pros:
          -Portable
          -All add ons in one purchase
          -Controls are easy
          
          Switch Cons:
          -No fancy skins for Ghost
          -I'm scared to take my switch anywhere.
          
          Laptop Pros:
          -Fancy skins for Ghost
          -Mods (?)
          
          Laptop Cons:
          -Multiple purchases for add ons
          -Difficult to carry everywhere
          -Need to learn new controls
          
          I'm crying. I really want to use fancy skins but the switch is so much easier to carry around than my laptop but I'm scared to take my switch anywhere other than my house and my dad's house.
          Like, yeah. I could buy it on both but I need to save up enough money for at least half of my car's rego and subscriptions for Spotify and Nintendo Online.
          
          I hate how expensive living is.
          I have to work until I die just to make ends meet or I am a burden on those around me, risk being kicked out and die alone.

          I'm writing a transformers prime fanfiction focusing on found family, living with neurological disorders, cybertronian culture vs human culture and the effects of war.
