OK, this is the first time, but I wanted to leave my review on a book here.
"ELIO MARINO" is such a good book. It would've made it to my absolutely favourites list, but unfortunately, I dropped it at chapter 49. The writing in this is amazing, the plot is pretty interesting and you'll get hooked from the beginning, you'll always be curious what's gonna happen next, the characters are really good you would have some mixed feelings about them sometimes which is normal but you would love them nevertheless. then why did I drop it? Bc of the FL's character, out of all the books i've read, Zahra is probably one of the FLs that I hate the most. For the first 20 chapters I didn't like her much but still I went on with the book, then I started to warm up to her a little then she started ruining everything again for me by chapter 31 and that was it for me I couldn't like her again at all, for me she was super selfish, very controlling over her team acting like she's the leader when she's not, very arrogant she would make a mistake and put everyone's lives in danger but never admit it, and don't get me started on how many times she hurt the ML by using his words and traumas against him and never apologising then act like "omg what did i do". so honestly, it started to be so hard for me to finish that book bc I didn't feel anything at the supposedly romantic moments, and I hated every time I had to read her pov.
So anyways I just wanted to write this to say that the book is really good maybe not liking her was a me problem cuz everyone else seemed to like her (idk how) so yeah give it a try if you want, and I also wanted to know if anyone else read the book and felt the same as me(i don't wanna be alone in this lol).
