I hate it when something unpleasant happens, and then you start overthinking the entire interaction for hours. Making yourself anxious. This is one of the reasons why I love to read, and also one of the reasons I love to write. To let those anxious thoughts fade away. Adventuring into a fictitious world where those unpleasant interactions never occurred. Books are magical in that way.

@my_wildwolf So real! Writing is like getting into the mind of a thousand characters, and living their lives for a little while. And at least, when something unpleasant happens you can find a way to write about it, and control the situation in your fictional world. Your characters can say what you wish you would have said, or do what you wish you would have done. Or...we can forget about the moment entirely. Either way, I'm grateful that we have literature in this day and age.

@MJ_Harris It's so nice to find people you can relate to! Also, that's amazing. I used to draw a lot to distract my anxious mind and then eventually turned to writing. And I just love finding books to read that make me lose track of time. Fantasy is such a great genre for that!

@Littlebookcat333 This is so real, ive always dealt with anxiety and part of the reason I like writing is that its a way to get away from the craziness of life. I can just go into all the stories in my head and pretend lol Hope your doing okay!!
