I am a Chinese-American living in New England that loves to write and lives by a simple philosophy when it comes to writing, "The best stories are about the author."

Sometimes the most powerful works created are about or allude towards what the writer had went through in their life from experiences to thoughts as they are real, they happened, and the writer has the full capacity to expand upon feelings, actions, and thoughts because real life stories have the most authentic of descriptions as nothing can be superficial or made up. Very few times can such a story have  a random plot hole. When that happens, the logical reason is that it was never covered, but what that plot hole may be isn't always far fetched and can sometimes be the best way a writer can tell the world of their experiences without being embarrassed as that is covered as a masterpiece of fiction. 

Writing is an art and should remain as one because the human experience is filled with life.
