The sacrifice. She had been in a coma for a very long time, though it had been a couple of weeks. Due to the battle, she lost a lot of blood, and the extreme strain on her body made her collapse in complete exhaustion.
She thought she was dead, but the voices of the turtles made her determined to stay away from the light and try to live again. With whatever strength she possessed, she opened her eyes slowly.
Who was blurry for a few seconds before it became clear. She was lying on the hospital bed. White sheets covering her body, the heart monitor beating steadily, and a dull throb on the left side of her face were the first few things she discovered during the first few seconds of her awareness.
She assumed that one
of the turtles or her sensei would appear at her bedside, but no one was there. She was alone. That is until the nurse came in, probably to perform a check-up, when she looked up and discovered Sakura awake. She retreated to the hallway, searching for a doctor. Sakura was trying to regain more of her surroundings. She had so many questions but no answers to receive. The doctor came in with a look of bewilderment and relief"
