Hello, I know it's been a minute the last time I uploaded. (My most sincere apologies) But I have good news, expect some chapters to come out this week, and I'm on the final one for the current arc I'm writing. After this I'll cover the Vol. 1 finale and I can FINALLY move onto other stuff.

I know it's almost been a month since my last upload, (my apologies) but I just posted the next chapter for my story. Along with this I have good news, school is coming to an end for me this week and thus begins Summer.
Which means I'll have more time for writing chapters which I plan to entirely take advantage of. Now this doesn't mean there will be immediate uploads after this week, though I do plan to get some out consistently for the upcoming months.

To all the people following me for my story, I have good news:
First, I am alive, I apologize for the lack of activity on this account as I've been wracked with school and homework. TL;DR is at the bottom in case you're curious.
But besides that I have finally finished the fifth chapter for the arc I was currently working for my story. The rough drafts have been all (for the most part done). All I need to do now is to re-read them and tidy up the details, such as grammar mistakes or inconsistencies. However this means I aim to publish a majority of the chapters this following week and can move onto the next writing arc I have for this story. Thank you to all who have been patient and I plan to post an Author's note soon!
TL;DR New chapters are coming out this week.

Just wanted to alert anyone who's following me that my story "What I'm Made of" won't be getting an update for a bit. It's not because I am not working on it or have given up. But I instead I am trying to work in between school hours and I have planned a 4-5 chapter arc that I want to have ready in its entirety instead of uploading a single chapter than releasing it a few months in between. Depending on how that goes I might continue that process, but until then I am considering posting an Author's note this week addressing some things about my story.

I don't get it why did y/n lose to cardin because early in story he seemed very capable and powerful even without transforming. But he somehow lost then later on treats cardin like a non threat. So I am guessing that he didn't want to show off or lost on purpose or he can show his true strength on grim and anything else he is weak but I'm not sure

Thanks for answering but still find it hard to believe that y/n would loose to cardin especially highlighting pass battles in base form. But if I'm right about being completely over powering for grim but when it comes non grim that he handicapped for multiple reasons. Also I respect your decision to have him loose to where cardin he can bully him but after locking in and protecting velvet and demonstrated no fear to cardin. To the point he doesn't see him as a threat makes me think and that's a good thing that proves that you are a great writer.

@deathslade200315 I appreciate you reaching out and questioning this aspect in the story. I won't give away the number one reason because I'm saving that for a later in story explanation. However I will say that you're pretty on point for one for your theories. Another thing is I want Y/n (AKA: You) to feel like an actual human being. Too many stories do this where they have the protagonist be good at everything and to me that's very boring. I want to give him challenges to overcome and show he has his signs of weaknesses. An alternative example of this would be his social interaction, as he doesn't want to get close to people. He's got problems he needs to overcome and I want that to be earned throughout the story. Sorry for the long post, I just needed it to be explained.
