Heyo folks. So it's been another two weeks since an update and I want to thank everyone for being patient. I knew I wasn't going to write anything this week, I should have had a post up, but I forgot! 
          
          That being said my community theater's production of Guys and Dolls went SWIMMINGLY, Chapter ten is a few paragraphs away from being finished and we're roughly halfway through the first draft of Disconnected.
          
          So thank you for all your support, I couldn't be happier with the feedback I've received so far (and how understanding the community is with this very rough first draft!) Here's hoping the next ten chapters go as smoothly as the first! And please, I love your feedback, keep commenting, private messaging me, and voting ! It keeps me going!

Hello, hello! 
          So, weekly is a goal, but in this case it was kind of monthly. Things got super busy and my work schedule changed again PLUS I started this summer's community theater, so it's been rough finding time to write. 
          That being said, here's chapter 9 in all it's first draft glory. If you're into it, leave me a vote or a comment, and I PROMISE chapter 10 will be weekly (I've already got half of it done, so I can guarantee it this time haha!)
          Thanks again for all your support folks, next week will be the halfway point to this novel! 
          
          Also, a question for my readers - are my chapters too long? I know the standard mobile format for wattpad is 1000 words per chapter, and most of mine are running 3000-4000, which is more standard novel length. Is the formatting difficult to read? Are they too long? Would you like to see shorter chapters more frequently, or are you guys good with what they are now? Let me know in a message or a comment, I'd like to see what ya'll think!

Hey guys! I just put up chapter 8, I'm getting better at sticking to a weekly schedule, hopefully I'll actually be able to do it this week! 
          I'd love some feedback, writing action is  H A R D  and I have no idea if my pacing worked this week. Side note, this chapter is a little more gory than anything so far, if you read chap 7 you know that shit's going down now, and it certainly goes down in chap 8. So if you're squeamish, be on alert for this one. 
          As always, thanks for all the support, I couldn't do this without you guys and the awesome community here on wattpad!

It was a battle, action scenes are more difficult to write than I initially thought. I also experimented with a few things, a POV change, a dream sequence, do they work? I've had some personal things happen irl, and it's been sapping all the time and energy I have to write.
