When I'm not writing or eating cake, I work at a local primary school where my absolute favourite task is running the drama club for Years 5 and 6.
I asked my pupils what they most enjoyed reading about, almost universally they declared: invisible people, people who can fly and magic. They tell me they don't want any more dragons!
So, I have written the first book of a series, guaranteed dragon-free! But full of magic, myth and British folklore.
