Idea For HBFS! Have Nathan ask her out! Then they go on a date which she feels a bit awkward on. At the end, Nathan takes her home and on the doorstep of her house tries to kiss her. Then, either they begin to kiss, but she pulls away, or she avoids the kiss, but in both times she rushes into her house and thinks/says some line about her complicated life. Just an idea.
