I just wanted to clarify that I never intended to change or alter your story in any way. My plan was to translate it as faithfully as possible, keeping every detail exactly as you wrote it, while giving you full credit and linking to the original work.
I understand why you feel uncomfortable since you can't read Arabic, and I respect that. Thank you again for your time, and I wish you all the best with your books. I hope they become a huge success.
@maliss_a1 Hello Mona. I'm glad you took the time to ask me first before doing anything with my book. And you suspected right — my answer is no. I have a few books up, and you did not specify which one you want to translate. Even if you had, they are all merely drafts, and I still need to edit them. Third, I don't speak Arabic, much less read it, and I have no reason to trust that you would not tamper with my story. Therefore, no, you may not touch my book, alter it, or reproduce it in any way. Thank you for the offer, but no thank you.
