G'day, my name is LJ Connor. I'm a 27 year old Australian mother, I was born and raised in rural south east Queensland on my parents sugar cane farm.
I've always loved to write, and have decided to finally try to make my dreams a reality. I write spicy romances in different genres, though they are all set in Australia, I love the unique culture and our VERY unique take on the English language, and since there has been a rise in online videos of late about people in other countries learning about Australia and life life over here I thought people would enjoy reading about it in novels, just as much as I enjoy sharing and writing about it! I also love finding easter eggs in books and movies, so I encorperate them in my own novels, in the meaning of the names of my beloved (or not so on some cases) characters, as well as the names of places, or stores, and in some of the dates used. Have a read and see if you can figure any of them out.
In the book I'm currently working on, the main character is loosely based on my own 18 year old self and an incident that happened to and how I wish it could have turned out at the time. I think a lot of young women, and more young men than people realise, will relate to it and hopefully find some healing in it reading about the main character overcome her hurdles as well as find the ability to give themself some grace and realise that everyone needs time, love understanding, support and help from the people around them to overcome hard and traumatic situations.
