Changed the title of The Guy from My Street to Sins and Reborns, for anyone wondering. Haha

Writing tip I learned in my course!

This is about editing which is a part most people hate.

Tip: don’t just fix typos, change words and improve scene transitions.
So try fixing the sentences if they sound lazy or irrelevant. As writers, we want as much description and as many words as possible, but it's better to not overdo it.

          I'm a sucker for those too. o.O

Writing tip I learned in my course!

Try to map out the story and plan the ending!

It’s a good idea to have an ending planned from the start since this is what you tend to strive towards. And sometimes when you don’t know the ending yet then it might not make sense in the end at all and some key points will be pointless or lost.

P.S., I know I said I was gonna do them weekly but honestly I just forgot.

honestly, if my future husband:

-“doesn’t work in a bookstore or is the owner and give me free coffee with caramel syrup while handing out free books and sitting with me, recommending books until closing time”

          then he’s not it.

Writing tip, week 1!

nothing wrong with using the word ‘said’ repeatedly. I was shocked by this too, but apparently using a wide set of different words (murmur, growl, mumble, declare, retort, explained) can confuse the reader.

As you can see even in classics, they tend to use only 'said' or 'asked'.

Of course, you can use the others but it is better to stick more to 'say'.

Hope you take this tip into consideration! :))

As a Creative Writing student now (in year two), I thought I would start sharing some of the advice I have learned in my lectures here too. I know there are many fellow new or old writers here struggling (as am I). I'm gonna share with you tips that I wish I had learned earlier.

@OriginalUnique91 Hi! No problem, I am happy to help. I have struggled with all this for years, haha.
