Sooo I read dark romance after a long time which successfully managed to piss me off in ways no book could. At most I drop books lightning fast when I don't like it but with this book, I wish I could take back whatever time I invested in reading it (skipping chapters in between)
          1. I found the book thru a reel which had a scenario nowhere found in the original book.
          2. The author DEMANDED engagement (comments, likes) but lets be honest a good book doesn't require reminder for comments constantly.
          3. The male protagonist was plain asshole, misogynist and KEPT VIOLATING the female protagonist every.single.chapter.
          4. The female protagonist topped all damsel in distress characters even topped Sophia from ACE because girliepop is a born victim without any such situation whatsoever, inferiority complex more than my will to live, a fucking idiot and defenseless moron with 0 character development throughout the book. 
          I wish this book never gains recognition.

There's this VERY popular 18+ book where the male love interest takes his girl's virginity (who's a horny drunk) while she's intoxicated by a drink spiked by someone else. My luvs, this is NOT right. Intoxicated consent is NOT consent. Neither for a man nor for a woman. To top it all off, the author is so chill about this like it's not a big deal because the book is R rated. Forget mature books even eroticas shouldn't normalise intoxicated consented sex. Every other book I have read so far showed the love interest holding back in situations like this and this is only how it should be. 

I swear if I read one more book with "badass" female lead who becomes a stupid fuck and damsel in distress in furthur chapters I'm gonna delete wattpad. Like I legit started a 'mafia' book which turned into college romance with a strong (assasin) female turn clumsy af as I advanced through the chapters not to mention a generic cocky conceited manwhore male lead. ALL OF THE BOOKS I READ LATELY PISSED ME OFF. This is why I can guarantee that no one will find a bad or cringy book in my reading lists. 

Where did audience's taste come down to? Mediocre stories and corny fanfictions rank higher in romance category nowadays. I started a few stories, read with a straight face throughout and finished them. I read bunch of such books which couldn't make it to any of my playlists. Good books are so hard to find. 

Few days back I dropped a story with the most infuriating plot of an egoistic controlling freak raping his love interest, a damsel in distress female lead and that's it. A ridiculous story of a rapist and his victim fall in love with each other. Wow. 

Here's my recommendation to fellow romance lovers who absolutely adore books with love triangles, royalty and cute friendships. This book has unique plot with intriguing male lead and an interesting female lead. I sincerely hope everyone gives it a read and shower the author with appreciation and enormous support :)
