This is because after so much that’s happened, I kinda forget where to take the story

Think you might do a My Gift Level 9999 Unlimited Gacha (Manga) and Resident Evil story?
Plot: After Light was betrayed by his party he was saved by a portal trap and his maid saves him; then suddenly; Light and his maid finds that they end up from an anomaly portal appear and ends to where they find themselves in the umbrella corporation (either 1997/1998 or perhaps 2003)
They end up learning some new things and one scientist help them get what they need in return of information for his research/combat data.
The plot of the series would be the same as the manga/anime but Light getting the Wesker treatment or what you think?
Well, you see, I’m currently working on something similar to that
First, I need to work out some details & such
You know, smoothing out some rough edges and whatnot
