It is so cool how you had a similar idea to me where the ranks of wolves have different colors. For me the wolves in my story the Alpha Supreme's eyes are bright gold, the Alpha Prime's are medium gold, the Alpha of a pack has dark gold eyes, the Beta Supreme's eyes are bright amber eyes, the Beta Prime's eyes are medium amber, the Beta's eyes are dark amber eyes, the lead gamma's eyes dark blue, other Gamma's eyes are light blue, Delta wolves eyes are brown eyes and Omega wolves eyes are green, Shaman wolves have purple eyes there is even another two wolves in my story with violet eyes. 
          I have my story written up to chapter 46 so far but I think I start talking about eye color in like chapter 15. I was so excited when I heard the way you are going to do yours. I know you said you have been having trouble but what you have so far is really good.  I can't wait!!
