Are you aware that the ‘not ideal’ body type nowadays was the ideal body and praised long ago?
In Ancient Greece (500 - 300 B.C.) the ideal body was plump and full bodied.
Italian Renaissance (1400 - 1700) their ideal body was ample breasts, rounded stomach, and full hips.
If someone thinks that your body is not lovely, they’re dead wrong.
Aphrodite — Greek GODDESS of love, sex, and beauty — was seen as the epitome of Greek beauty. She’s depicted with large breasts, wide hips, fleshy (thick) thighs, and a plump midsection. The women of Ancient Greece looked up to her and attempted to model their own bodies after her.
Hera — Greek GODDESS of marriage and women — has a large X-shaped scar on her stomach.
Athena — (ANOTHER) Greek GODDESS of wisdom and warfare — is depicted as a tall and slender woman.
Plump, skinny, curvy, short, tall, average height, scars, acne, any ethnicity, short hair, long hair, big nose, small nose, thin lips, big lips, small eyes, big eyes, whatever eye color, unruly brows, perfectly shaped brows, and each face shape is beautiful. YOU are beautiful. You are worthy of love. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Knowing that I have the body type of a goddess makes me so happy and like myself a bit more. I hope it helps other people too♡♡♡
My best friend has said that they love my body, that there’s just more to love and cuddle. And it’s so true.
In the end, beauty and the ‘ideal woman’s body’ is a human construct, and completely in the eye of the beholder.
But if someone won’t accept you for who you are, they sure as hell don’t deserve you.
