As I was saying, It doesn't occur to get because she just won't give up and when they won't die you get angrier from frustration and want them dead more.

@Fallen10angel exactly and when Jane said she wanted her family do die  and Jeff granted it she set her sights to kill him because its to hard to blame herself for there death. She practically created " Be careful for what you wish for."  She can't stand the fact it's her fault so she blames it on Jeff.
