I used to wear Cochlear aids since 3-4 years old, I don't know what happened to my hearing and i can speak just fine but stuttering 
And i don't understand people speaking well only understanding Texting and Family speak.
If you wirte or texting which i don't recognize what the words mean, so i can check google and typing what it mean,
i understand peopel using GSL ( a little) or lips reading (if they speak to fast which i don't understand)

before you ask me why i misgender you?
because my mind switch pronouns without thinking or forgot to look at your Profil gender
