Officially going into Senior Year, and by the time I graduate, I will have completed one year of college After that, I'll have most of the core credits I need out of the way and I can focus on my majors.

Sadly, this means there won't be much happening in terms of editing and updating (not that I do much of that anyway) for a bit, but writing is simply something I enjoy doing, and I've always known that it would never be something I'd turn into a career.

That being said, I'll still write and eventually will update some things, but I won't be available as much.

Fighting for my life as an adult,
          	-Me

I cannot post an update on Ao3 the same way I can here. This is mainly to reach out to friends that I can't contact using normal means as I have been (most likely permanently) locked out of my discord.

This is my 'once a blue moon update' as I've been calling them, letting people know I'm alive and okay. I'm currently taking college courses alongside my final High School classes, and will be moving up north once I legally can.

Life in a specific southern state has been absolute hell, and I'm glad to say I can finally gtfo. My Ao3 is still the same, and there's a couple new fics that I update when I have the time, and I'm always active on my tumblr (harlstiel).

I really need to find a better way to advertise, but until then, this is me signing off, once again.

My last update was a little over a year ago, so I am here to make another. If this reaches anyone on Discord, I can not access my account and have not been able to for a long time. Updates on Ao3 are slow due to me preparing to leave my state when I graduate, as well as high school being what it generally is.

I don't have access to a laptop, so I can't write at the moment. Most books have been unpublished, and the single one that is published will most likely no longer be updated. I can't even bring myself to read what IS there because it's absolutely horrendous

Nonetheless, I'll be updating on Ao3 whenever I have something readable. Username is still Hyacinth_Us (it hasn't changed, and probably never will), and the profile picture is the exact same.

I have also, however, moved over to Tumblr under Harlstiel, the blog name is the same as my Ao3 and here. I'm on there more often than I am Ao3 (which says a lot if you KNOW know me).

This is me, signing off once again.

This may be the final update, I have completely moved over to Ao3. Most of the books here are being rewritten or are in a drafted state with no intentions of being altered and/or published. I have gotten my Email (finally) and I have an account set up. The user is @/Hyacinth_us
I do not have a posting schedule and probably never will. Writing isn't something I do often anymore seeing as I now have to worry about getting a job, drivers ed, and a graduate plan apparently.
I know all I have been putting out are excuses and broken promises so I would just like to say this; I apologize for the inconveniences and will get to them in due time.

I know it has been too long since I updated a book. I know I’m not as active as I used to be (including on my other platforms) and there’s a reason for that. I just don’t have the motivation for much anymore. When it comes to my books, I’ve come to absolutely despise them and would rewrite them if I had the time or motivation. I’m also not in the same fanbases I used to be in. Granted, I only actually have one or two actual fanfictions out with the rest being original works but still. My writing style keeps changing and I have come to hate how I used to write more and more. I also can’t get any inspiration after publishing a few chapters so I may need time to write a bunch of chapters ahead so as to give myself time to think. I’m sorry for any inconveniences and I hope no one has any issues or complaints, granted I won’t take any anyway. Thank you for your cooperation.

I am temporarily switching over to Ao3, however I may not update anything for a while. All of my books have been drafted and I'm still waiting on an email from the Archive.

Question, does anyone else’s school require bag checks and going through metal detectors before entering-? Or is that just a ghetto school thing? And are mesh/see through backpacks the only ones y’all can use or..?

Imma go on an entire rant for a minute. In the Tokyo Ghoul Manga, Hide, when asked why he was willing to go so far for Ken Kaneki, he says “Why? Because I love him.”

However, in the series, he says: “Because I like the guy.” And they completely butchered it in the anime too. He was awkward unlike the manga, where he was sincere and almost reminiscent. What the hell happened?
