I'm taking this out of Prodigies Are Made, but I thought this was funny so i'm posting it here. The background is that Aaron and Xavier just arrived at a doctor's appointment late because Aaron is usually late and Xavier was hanging out with Simeon. Xavier said that he was hanging out with a friend.
          
          The atmosphere suddenly changed.
          
          "A friend?"
          
          "Who is it?"
          
          "Is it Brittany?"
          
          "When did you get a friend?"
          
          "What, can't I have friends?" I asked. It was kind of offending that they thought otherwise.
          
          Offending but true.
          
          "No offense mate, but you are too busy to have friends," Jack said, "We all are."
          
          "Did you change your accent?" I asked.
          
          "Don't change the subject." Sammi replied with a stern gaze.
          
          "I'm not, this is a serious question!" I protested.

I'm undergoing some editing on Prodigies Are Made so if something is missing or replaced, that's why.
          
          I wanted Xavier to be less angry and tired all of the time and I wanted the book to be less of a love story (even though I hope to develop a few relationships) so that's why it's so different. The main idea of the story week probably stay the same though.
