Today, I read Phobos. This is the first time I’ve ever read a futuristic novel—and I truly love your writing. I don’t speak Spanish, so I used Wattpad’s web version through Google to translate it. I’m really glad I did. Satsuki’s role as a commander caught my attention right away. I finished reading the prologue today, and I’ll continue with chapter 1 next weekend. Thank you so much.

@Lavinia_Diary Thanks for your encouraging words. Still... the story so far is 395k words length and... as much as I appreciate the compliment, I'm sure my skills will prove lacking when I actually try to write the same thing in english. I got myself covered because my head thinks in spanglish and, even if I write in spanish, I usually avoid hard-to-translate expressions that might trouble me in the future when I write. That being said, my top priority is reaching the end of this story. Then, I will start reviewing it from the beginning to hunt for typos and plotholes. After I'm done ensuring it's 100% refined, I will see how could I translate it to english. Deep inside, I always knew I was shooting myself in the feet by writing it on spanish instead of english but... let's just say I wasn't confident enough (and I'm still not, honestly) to express myself in english. Once again, thanks for your feedback and your encouraging words. I appreciate the extra effort it took you to read the story and I thank you for your interest.

@LordMakron Your English is actually very good. I believe it's best if you translate your story yourself, because that way you can preserve your inner voice. AI tools can be helpful for proofreading grammar, but your unique style and tone are what make your writing special. I studied Spanish 18 years ago, but I had to stop because I got busy with college and then work after graduating. Even so, I can still catch glimpses of meaning from your original Spanish text—and I really like your voice as a writer. That’s why I’m confident you can translate it into English while keeping that same feeling alive. Thank you again for sharing your story!

@Lavinia_Diary Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wish I could have an english version of this story, but I have never written in english before and there are structures and expresions I'm not familiar with. Some years ago I tried to make a machine assisted translation with Google Translator, but I ended up being pretty unsatisfied with the result and gave up. Right now I can't really afford a professional translation, but the idea of making an english version has been on my head for quite a while. Obviously, I lack the writing skill to do it myself right now, but after I'm done writing the last chapters, I have considered trying to do an AI assisted translation. Again, thanks for giving me a chance despite the language barrier and I'm really happy you enjoyed it. Thanks you too for your time and interest on my project.
