I need to say something.
The release of chapter 2 took extremely long for so many reasons. For one, I was nervous about its quality. After seeing that chapter 1 got a lot of views overnight, I was afraid that rushing chapter 2 for the sake of keeping the popularity would ruin the whole story, so I held back on releasing it in an attempt to perfect every minuscule detail (something I’m not even the best at doing). I reread the chapter over a hundred times, adding and removing things, fixing inconsistencies relating to the first chapter, correcting spelling and grammar errors, etc. It was only last night when I was finally satisfied with the final product and deemed it worthy of release.
But that’s not entirely the reason for the wait. Allow me to get personal with y’all.
I have a busy personal life. I have a strong passion for writing stories, but with how busy real life gets for me, I don’t have all the time in the world to dedicate to writing. Working on this story is something I often do during my lunch breaks at work. However despite that, I’ll do my best to get chapter 3 out to y’all quicker than chapter 2 did. I’m still excited to share this story, and I hope y’all are still just as excited to read it.
