It would be like in the end of a chapter I would ask what out of a view possibilities the readers prefer I would give it a time limit where people can comment on what they would like best... But to be honest I would prefer the first choice 'cause it would be easier to think it a story. But since you had the idea I'll let you give me a view thinks about the reader that are important for example: should he/she be a human or a monster, is there a romantic relationship between the reader and one of the unmarried characters etc.
