So, apparently, the inevitable has now happened. I'm sorry to say this, people, but sadly, I have drifted off from this account and have decided to leave it. It's not that it's because I'm busy, or that I'm having issues or whatever. The reason is simple: I'm just not happy anymore. Currently as I write this, I have reached 500 something followers, which is an incredible feat. An insane, incredible feat. And I thank you guys for that. The followers, the friends, the mentors, thank you because I never would have reached what I am right now on LoserInTheCrowd. I've had my ups and downs on this account, I started off my writing dream here, and I have gotten and earned so much from everyone that I've met here.
Wattpad is a home for me, but really, some point a few months ago, I just felt like I had to do something different. Fanfic writing has been great, really, but I thought, "Where is that going to get me?" At this point in my life, I've decided to already pick up my pen and pursue a career in writing, although I'm not quite sure how. All I know is that I want to live my life writing, and perhaps it did hurt to admit, but somehow I had convinced myself that fanfic writing will not get me anywhere with that dream. Now some of you may say, "It WILL get you somewhere!" No, it won't. Not in my state of life, it couldn't.
I'd have you know, I'm not depressed or anything. I'm kind of... excited, even, because now I'm going to continue my writing as a journalist. ( fyi, I work for our school newspaper and have been promoted to literary and entertainment editor just a few months ago. yay! ) From there, I'm going to start and see where my decision takes me.
