I really don’t know how to answer that Because it varies. What do you believe on the the subject at hand?
Yes I do understand the point your making, but also we have to factor in Varian’s shenanigans. Quirin was probably very stressed due to his role as village leader and he most likely had to set an example, but his son varian constantly blew the entire village up we witness this in the spoken line ‘Not again Varian’ showing us that Varian has repeatedly done this, as this is not a one time issue. So while yes Quirin’s parenting skills could use a bit of work, work in which we see happen in season 3! Varian could also learn to control the situation a lot better and learn when he’s pushed his inventions to their limit or double checking just in case. But we also do see this character development in season 3! In the end they both need to work on not stressing one another out or putting others in critical danger.
I’m not to sure but that’s my take on this subject
