            In 1960, Alexandru Sift, a well-known scientist, traveled to the forest of Hoia Baciu, located in East Romania. The Hoia forest had the reputation of being a hot spot for paranormal activities, the main reason for Sift's motivation. He wrote many notes about his experiences there, but many were found burnt upon his death, in 1993. The notes that survived detailed his experiments on the forest with test subjects. In every one of his notes he ended by saying "Knowledge is harmful, Ignorance is bliss".

          Five years after the Romanian Knowledge Experiment, in 2013, seven friends traveling across the world come to West Romania to go camping in the famed Hoia Baciu Forest, which was the hot spot for the paranormal. Those seven friend were about to find out why....

          Death: it was just a waiting game now. A new virus, dubbed the "Infection", swept across the world, killing millions within days. There was nothing like it that anyone has seen before, but that wasn't even the scariest part though. Scientist decided to bring the afflicted bodies to labs and try to use bodily samples and observations to derive a cure for this vile, unforgiving virus. One day, as a scientist was looking at some samples through a microscope, one of the bodies came to life, shaking vigorously as the body started to expel this thick black substance, consuming the body and leaving this, this... thing. It killed everyone in the lab that day and from then on, more and more of these creatures appeared, killing all in their wake. Higher up military leaders tried to contain it, but.... the effort was not strong enough. When all hope was lost, a small science lab in Russia came up with an experimental drug that could possibly stop this infection. The bad news though it only worked with people with Ab(-), B(-), and O(-) people, in all only accounting 1.5% of the world's population at the time. Searching far and wide for the perfect candidates, the scientist stumbled upon seven young people that not only were infected, but had the blood types needed in order to have the drug not kill them. They thought the drug would either turn them or cure them, but there was another, unknown possibility....
