I tried NaNoWriMo for the first time in 2014 on the encouragement of some of my writer friends. I discovered I really enjoyed writing. It's something I do for myself and if others like what I have written, it's a bonus. Short fiction is what I mostly write and have had the privilege of having one of my flash fictions, "A Test Of Loyalties", published in "Impact", Queer Sci Fi's Fifth Annual Flash Fiction Contest.
