@imheretopissyouoff the way you keep contradicting yourself and making my point for me is hilarious. Girl, I am not a peer-reviewed article and am not going to try to explain anything to you anymore because it’s like talking to a brick wall. If you want to keep twisting everything  up then be my guest, that is not my problem. If you actually cared about these issues, you’d listen to minority voices. Also, Google is free. There are plenty of peer-reviewed articles and I recommend you read some. I’m not wasting my time on people like you because it’s pointless :) Have nice day and go read a book or something, sweetie <3

@Mendesmycam I never said I knew anything about you. And I know plenty about the racist shit going on in the world. I’m not an idiot. But this isn’t the 1940s. POC have way more opportunities now then they did back then. And here’s the kicker. There will always, ALWAYS be racist people in the world. No matter what you do. There will be racist, homophobic, HORRIBLE people in the world. Is that fair? No. But complaining about it isn’t going to do you or anyone else any good. I’m not “shielded” from anything. Take action and bring racist bastards to their knees. But don’t go attacking an entire group of people saying that they all live in this little bubble of ignorance, because guess what? Not ALL white people are horrible racist unaware bastards living in this so called bubble.

@imheretopissyouoff nobody said that white people don’t go through hellish experiences. I’m sorry about what you’ve been through, but having “white privilege” means that you have advantages that POC don’t because of your race. It is purely ON THE BASIS OF RACE. Your sexuality or horrid life experiences have nothing to do with your race. Yes, the LGBTQ+ community also faces discrimination so I recognize that you do have a disadvantage in this unjust society, but you’re also white and that alone is enough to get you through the door over a POC member of the LGBTQ+ community. Also, what I said wasn’t even directed at you but you just proved my point. I know your life isn’t sunshine & rainbows, but the fact that you deny your white privilege shows how shielded you are from the harsh reality of racial inequality and injustice. You know nothing about me so who are you to tell me I’m making life seem so simple? I will not sit here and let you tell me about privilege and hellish lives.
