How do you deal with racism, sexism, and other hateful things?I know this is a very touchy topic but there's this boy in my class that makes unnecessary commentary about POC, Women's History Month, etc. He's racist, sexist, and overall a hateful person. I was told to ignore it but he's taking time out of our day and interrupting our learning. That and he makes me uncomfortable as well as others. I myself am a POC(mixed with white and African American) and I just cant explain how sad and uncomfortable by what he says to the point where I don't want to come to class(when we were discussing Black History Month, he thought it had no point and that he didn't care, that it was unnecessary. Now I've had identity issues all my life because people like him and society made me think black folk were something to be ashamed of. So when I finally embraced my black side and am proud of it, I have to deal with stupid comments like his all over again and I don't want to go through those identity issues because black is beautiful).
And side note:sorry if I'm not as active (I'm active in my main rp that I originally joined but have not as much time even then because of exams, projects, etc so sorry!)
