The change of pace is drastic while the overall themes and intent are the same, I am expanding on world-building and a style of writing that helps bring the world to life while tying in legitimate points to illustrate the mindset of the characters further.
I was given some very good feedback about the pacing being too fast, so I decided to slow the story down, further explore Aria's time initial time on earth, and will be doing that for the other main characters.
The initial chapters are drafts, I am going to be introducing revisions now based on in-person reviews and a legitimate criticism that I failed to incorporate properly worth building.
