Hi everyone, I am so sorry for taking so long to update.
          
          We recently got hit by heavy rain and severe flooding from the storm. It’s been decades since it last flooded in our area, so it completely caught us off guard. I had to step away to focus on taking care of my family, as safety always comes first.
          
          Things are slowly settling down now, and I’m doing my best to get back to writing. Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and ongoing support—it truly means a lot. I’ll post the next chapter as soon as I can. Please stay safe, everyone!.

          I honestly don't even know what to say right now. My life has completely turned upside down over the past few days. First, my grandpa passed away, and then, just two days later, my sister's ex-husband passed away too. It all happened so suddenly, and I'm still trying to process everything and be with my family.
          
          Thank you so much for your endless patience while I take a little time to breathe and deal with all of this.
          
          I promise I'll be back with updates as soon as I can. But fair warning—for my readers who cry easily and are soft-hearted like me, I think you need to start stocking up on extra tissues for the upcoming chapters. You're definitely going to need them.
