Okokok hear me out please.
So I've been getting really into Occamys lately because I've found out they're my Patronus (cool yeah awesome they're adorable) so I've been looking up pictures and descriptions and something isn't adding up. All the written descriptions, (including my copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them) all state that the Occamy is a TWO-LEGGED winged and feathered searpent-like creature. But like- all the pictures I see, and I mean all of them, the animation that plays when displaying your patronus, clips from the film, pictures and promotional art all show that the Occamy doesn't have any legs! I could understand if this was just creative liberty taken by the artistic designers behind the Fantastic Beasts movie and the book is just not lining up, which is FINE, but the page for the Occamy on Pottermore still states that it has legs! While using a movie clip for the main reference for the Occamy! Would it be too hard to use images from the fully illustrated Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them that actually DO show the Occamy having two legs! Oh wait you can't do that, because that would actually create continuity pertaining to older works and not the new flashy movie that almost everyone has seen! (I love the movie not bashing it sorry if it sounds like it, but come on people, how hard is it to change at least one picture or one discription.)
There you have it, a rant about the Harry Potter extended universe that almost no one will care about. Bye.
