my husband just asked me to see this new movie, Mikey17. It sounds just like my story chapter from Whispers in the Shadow - Repeating

          	I think it's cool

PLEASE! Whoever reads this, if you are in the wildfires, extreme cold, or too much snow. Stay warm, stay safe and if you need to evacuate (looking at you CA) leave.

It's been extremes to extremes in the world, wars, natural disasters or a hormonal Mother Nature. Just stay safe.

          *hugs*

Hey how are you? It's been over a month since you made an appearance in here, I hope you're doing well, and your son's doing well with his new job too.

Take care , and have a wonderful day ( or night :-) )

@kimberleysaid Hugs!!! Been doing pretty good, working good hours, 2nd shift at our local Meijers store, trying to pay off bills. I normally have enough oomph in me to read a little before I pass out for the night.

My boy is doing good, if he would only text me once in a while lol! I remember going months without calling my parents when I moved out so I understand how that goes. He is realizing that walking everywhere isn't fun (an hour to the local store!) so he might end up taking my advice about a bus pass, we'll see.
I miss enjoying reading more on here. Hope you're doing good as well

My baby boy and only child has spent 4 hours with me as we moved him across the state. His house is literally 5 minutes from the downtown area of La Crosse, state of Minnesota is less than 10 minutes away with the beautiful Mississippi River in between.

I have the cardboard table up with laundry to fold. Kitty condo is placed next to the window.

New lanp is put together and 1st bookshelf will be put together when I don't hurt so much.

I miss my son, it seems so quiet and there are leftovers still in the fridge.

well, my son has found himself a teaching job in Lacrosse, a good 4 hour drive from where we live here in Milwaukee. He graduated from college with a history degree but, for 3 years, took education classes. He will be teaching children with slight learning disabilities.

I'm so proud of my boy. He's been talking since May about wanting to get the hell outta here and start his life, and he did. He and his friend from college are renting a townhouse and will probably be moving in before the end of September.

After this proud Momma sobbed at work for 10 minutes before realizing she was still on the clock, I took a deep breath and remembered how excited my husband and I were when we first moved in together 3 decades ago. My hubby told me that Ryan had that same look on his face, that excitement.

I know I'm going to miss my only child so much, even after I take over his room... but I'm smiling and supporting him as he spreads his wings.

and he's moving into a beautiful and HUGE townhouse with his friend in the next week or so, got his lease signed and he is so thrilled to be moving and be on his own (so to speak). As they don't have anything, we're giving him some pots and pans, a set of tupperware mixing bowls and he has dishes and silverware from his college years. If they need stuff, his friend's parents live right in Lacrosse so they will probably be helping them out. Other than that, they're on their own. Now Ryan gets to pack his stuff up and wait for my husband to have his pain meds refilled so he doesn't suffer during the drive up there. Guess who gets to drive the truck? Yay, it's meeeee! (btw, I hate driving trucks) LOL
