The overwhelming urge to scrap like 50% of the writing I’ve already done because I have ideas I like better and actually know where I’m going 

I just think you all should know, that there are currently 98 named characters in the book. 56 are OCs and only 5 of those OCs do I use elsewhere (and one of them isn’t even really mine). I am not done with characters yet. God cannot help me now

We are very rapidly approaching 6 years of working on Broken Hourglass. Would anyone be interested in some of the behind the scenes and early draft ideas?

I will always find it hilarious that Ink reveals super important plot details by just going “ya know” and everyone else is like “what are you talking about?”

I hope you all want a holiday themed bonus chapter cause you’re getting one. 
          
          (Bonus fun facts for people who actually read the announcement: One of the characters has a robo service dog, and in my head, I have named it Muttaton. Mutt for short.)

I really think there should be more fics of Ink being a trust fund baby. Struggling artist is overrated, let this man not know how to do anything except spend his grandparents’ money. I want interactions like this;
          
          Blue: I have to work extra shifts to make rent this month.
          Dream: Oh, that sucks. Good luck with that.
          Ink: What is rent?
          Blue: I have to pay a landlord to continue to live in my apartment.
          Ink: Have you tried just buying the apartment? :)
