It’s almost 3 am where I live and Christmas Eve so think about this:

          Are the elves Santa's slaves? I mean, Santa is literally just Satan scrambled up. So potentially we are singing songs about Satan. The elves could be demons and fallen angels and mrs.clause could be a fallen angel as well
