I understand Wattpad is mostly used by kids in middle school and is just a place to express your creativity in writing, but I feel like writers in general these days have become hypersensitive about their work and refuse to accept any advice or constructive criticism; constantly jumping to gun to call that person a hater or throw back their criticism. Sure some people actually criticize and call it constructive but you should be able to tell the difference between a question and an insult. For example: if you wrote a chapter about someone meeting up with a person at wedding and then for the rest of the book never mention that person again, and I commented that you should try fleshing out that person, that's constructive criticism. But if I go and say "omg I can't believe you never mentioned this person you need to bring them back now or you're terrible" then THAT'S criticism

Actually I have been reading them, and I'm hooked as a matter of fact. I rarely come across stories with a great and fleshed out plot, character archs, and great stuff

Lol no biggie. I often feel the same way, I just don’t bother to comment. I usually click the story and if there’s no paragraphing, more than 3 mistakes in one paragraph, I click out.

You should check out my work. I think you’d be a little less disappointed haha. I actually outline my chapters and research my science.
