Dear Lucy Saxon I read your book from my school and I was really hooked. It's been really hard to find an author like you and your are my inspiration to writing. I've been creating stories ever since I could write and finding a book that I can be bothered to read is a accomplishment. I love take the skies because it has a amazing back story. I prefer your books over harry potter any day.

@AnnaNeill Aww, that's really sweet of you, thank you! Best of luck with your writing :)

Well it doesn't look like you reply to any ones comment so I doubt that you will reply to mine but I just wanted to say that take back the skies was really cool. I am curious though as to why you not only killed off fox but then had cat marry james. To me that seemed like you made her give up everything she had fought for in the whole book. To me the character cat was a unique character who wanted a chance to control her own faith but then you seem to make an altenate universe in which the members of the stormdancer don't have as strong as a will they had already proven to have aND say that it is a continuation of the story. I don't understand why you would want to destroy a love that had so much potential and then continue to hurt not only your characters but your readers as well. I understand that this book is your creation but you must also understand that even if they are fictional the characters are still alive in the works that you have made. They are living people that you have changed the entirety of their personality in a matter of pages or rather 3 years in the book. I really don't see why I even wrote this anymore it's all ready apperent that you won't reply and the closest I'll get is replys from other users saying how they agree or disagree to this comment.

@JacklinFrost I haven't been replying because I'm the actual worst and also my email notifications got turned off. My bad! Also, watch the spoilers please, not everyone coming here has read the book! I have my reasons for doing what I did; Cat married James because Anglya needed a strong leader, and James wasn't going to be that. Cat didn't do what she did for Fox, at any point in the book. She did it for herself, and for Anglya. Everything she did was about making the country a better place; if she was only in it for herself, she could've run away on the Stormdancer and never looked back. Sure, if Fox had lived, she would have married him. But he didn't, and she felt she would never love again, so she made a political marriage to help both James and Anglya. If you don't agree with it still, that's fine, but my character motivations are there. I hope that's helped! :)
