@ jjk_x_780 Helloooo!! Omg I'm so happy for you. Starting to write is such an unknown yet exciting journey, everyone should experience it. My first experience wasn't exactly good. Actually, the first book I started writing was "Red", which didn't receive as much engagement as I had wanted to and which led me to pause it. Then I started Under Your Skin, and it started the right same way, but I didn't let those numbers get to me because I was inspired by the characters and story I created. And let me tell you that low engament doesn't exactly mean your story is bad. You need to be patient, work hard, write and read, rewrite and reread as many times as you need, because it's YOU the one who has to love the book first. Write what you love, and create a world and characters that inspire you to write a story around them. Don't let engagement metrics get to you, it's something that takes a lot of time. By the way, something that people don't know: some people wait for books to be finished to write them, so a lot of metrics aren't trustworthy on how good or bad youe book is. Take as much time as you need to write. If you need a break, take it. If you want to write, write 20 pages if you want, but always because you feel that need of writing down all the ideas going through your head.
I don't know if I answered all of your questions, but if you have more, don't doubt to reac out to me. And, if you want, dm on twitter with any advice or any help you might need (@lucy_luvn5)
